Unable to fire up FRD after Java update

Hello folks,

I just updated Java to the latest version. During the update, it asked me to exit FRD and restarted the machine. Since then if I click on FRD application, it does not execute, instead tells me that it needs JRE 1.6.0.

So I installed that too from oldapps.com, still I keep getting the same error. I tried to open *jar file using javaw.exe (both 32-bit or 64-bit) but nothing happens.

Any idea how to fix this problem?

Try to uninstall all Java versions and reinstall the latest version (without having any running Java programs). The Java installer can be buggy sometimes.
