FRD hangs up

FRD hangs up everytime I copy frd.odb from old version 0.9u2 (in Application Data\VitySoft\FRD folder).
Is there anything that I do/use to get those links from frd.odb file, or any way to export all the links from frd.odb file into a text file then I can add those links back to new version.

I really appreciate your feedback on this issue.

How large is the frd.odb file? If you can upload it somewhere, I could try debugging why it hangs.

The problem is that there are too many links. The library which we're using to handle download tasks can't handle more than a few hundred tasks because it seems to use extremely inefficient algorithms.

Does this download list work fine in an older version? Which version is it?

That list was working fine under version 0.9u2 and I have upgraded to 0.9u2 a few days ago...
The whole issue that I need those links in a text file so I can add them back to FRD (in parts).. I would appreciate if you could export those links from frd.odb database into some kind of a text file...

It's very weird, because we didn't change anything that has to do with this between 0.9u2 and 0.9u3.

You can export links from File > Export all links to file. (choose "Text files" as file type)

The whole problem now is that I cannot open any FRD versions with the attached frd.odb file, so I would appreciate if you could open the database file frd.odb -that I have attached previously- and send me back the text file of all links in frd.odb in a text file, and I would appreciate that so much.

your frd.odb is loading but FRD is using all available CPU to do something...
enabled debug mode in startup.properties and it revealed that FRD is testing 100's 1,000's of files

severed my internet connection to speed process, and let FRD finish testing the 8000+ new links

FRD did not hang, it had nothing to do with upgrade in FRD version, it was just adding new links to the queue

PS. when adding a large number of links, its better to use the 'add paused' button or add them in smaller groups
