File move buttons are all grey / inaccessible

Hi, all top buttons for changing file positions are grey, I cannot move a file to the top or bottom, or another location...
When I click a file with the mouse and try to drag, nothing happens, only more files get highlighted when moving the cursor over them.

I never had this problem before with FRD :-/ Any ideas?

I managed to get a solution myself:

If there is a file sorting enabled (like sort by name etc.) with a visible arrow on it, click the appropriate field with the left mouse mouse button two more times.
It will disable the sorting completely and enable the top "sorting" buttons again.

Strange feature, really...

EDIT: The sorting function is quite strange - if I try to sort by name, the file list is NOT sorted by name, either asc ar desc, the result is a complete chaos.
