I have the same problem. There were about 2500 links and all are lost. I use the new 0,83 version on Win XP profesional. Is there any file, were the links are saved?

links.txt in configuration folder contains all links added in 0.83

The same thing just happened to me. There is no links.txt file but there is filesList.xml in the AppsData/Roaming/VitySoft/FRD folder. There is also a backup, and the error must have occurred during this backup phase. It failed to make the backup correctly and then erased the main list of links! So now I have 0 / about 1500 and have to spend the next few days trying to figure out what links I need.

Since the backup are not made incrementally, so that if the backup is corrupt there is another from a few hours before, this is a program killer for me. Too bad, since I had been pushing everyone on my web pages to come and get it.

I strongly suspect that this is a memory problem, since the program got very sluggish after 500 links, but with 8GB I should have been fine. To be clear, 80% of my links were all paused to reduce the load on memory, so I would hate to think what it would act like with 1500 active links.

As I said. All new added links in 0.83 are has a backup in links.txt too.
And as I said one year ago, FRD is not designed to store more than 100 links.
