frd and proxy server problem

hi frd team,
i am waleed from egypt
first of all thank you so much for your lovely program i love it so much and depend on it daily
this software works very well on my normal dsl line in home just perfect
but in work situation is different
i have windows 7 java 6u18 which is the latest
i work after proxy server which has ip 10.8.0.150 and port 8080
i configured the proxy in the network configuration and inserted my username and password
but i can't connect to any service even can't update plugins nor software
as you suggest i remove the proxy configuration from internet explorer and mozilla firefox
but nothing works at all
what i can do else
please consider my probel is important and i hope i give you enough details about my problem

Hello Walled,
I see 2 possible problems from the log file:
1) Setting proxy configuration ON with configuration: cairo\waleed.hanafy@10.8.0.150:8080 (SOCKS)
SOCKS seems to be enabled
Try to add -DdefaultConnectionSocks=false into startup.properties
2) username contains slash \ which could bring some not expectable problems

regarding socks nothing solved my problem till now
about my username i can't change it since cairo is subdomain from my proxy
iam sorry i know my problem is very difficult and i can't solve my problem
