FRD don't save backup files
May 07, 2010 08:17PM
Operating system: Fedora 9
FRD version: 0.83u1

FRD starts always with empty list of urls to download.
There is no file "filesList.xml" in ~/.FRD

File "filesList.xml.backup" contain:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
_java version="1.6.0" class="java.beans.XMLDecoder">
 _object class="com.jgoodies.binding.list.ArrayListModel"/>
_/java>
(I used '_' instead of '<')

Log from console:

I use it:

$rpm -qa |grep jre
jre-1.6.0_20-fcs.i586

Downloaded from:
[cds.sun.com]

what you get when you run java --version ?

$ java -version
java version "1.6.0"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0-b09)
OpenJDK Server VM (build 1.6.0-b09, mixed mode)

Hmmmm, I tried to erase and replace it, but in Fedora it's nessesary to work with many programs (even openoffice.org)

Maybe is the way to use sun java only in FRD? I have instaled it (without any troubles), but system don't using it.
