slow HDD to iterrupt download?
December 10, 2008 07:02PM
Is it possible that a slow HDD would cause a download to be interrupted and started from scratch again, even when the file was already downloaded from Internet? I mean, I have got 2 hard drives in my PC, and the first one is quite slow and it seems that FreeRapid is actually downloading the files somewhere in the Win OS directories (Temp?) and then copies the file to final destination. BUT! I have a feeling that if the process of transferring the already downloaded file is too slow the program simply rejects the download as broken... is this true?

90% No.

No. Temporary files are created in the target directory. (.part files).

false smiling smiley. Nothing depends on the speed of reading/writing.
