New Version is freezing SOLVED !!!!

Always used the program since the early versions, and never had any trouble.
Now I decided to pull the latest version and am experiencing some strange problems.
Is very slow downloads, and also after about 15 minutes to update it for the speed and virtually freezes, freezes and keeps pulling.
Once the downloads are finished and I close the program, when I open the other day those who have finished the downloads restart again as if they had not finished.
That's happening on xp sp3 in windows seven ultimate sp1, I'm also using the latest version of java script.
I am using an older version at the moment until you have a light on where the problem exists that
