moving the file after downloading

in wxp takes too much. Why the file is copied and not just renamed? I've got somehow a slow external hd and copying large file takes more than 10 minutes. Renaming would be done in a second. Thank you.

FRD is for downloading files, not for file management on your system hard drives.

Download the file and then move it yourself later on, I can't understand what exactly your problem is supposed to be? Or point your FRD download directory to be on your external drive initially.

I run XPSP3 and I have no problem with either internal or external hard drives being slow, it must be your system hardware. You realize that you can upgrade your hardware to improve transfer times?
