Says nothing about a crash, but you seem to have had connection problems.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - General
Yup, broken. Thanks for reporting. They are using unescape(.....) things now, so this might take a while to fix. Oh dammit... A lot worse that I thought at first sight. They are going MediaFire...by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Plugins
Hmm, really? Strange. Does the log file (app.log) say anything?by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - General

Could you give a few examples on links that should be supported and links that should not be supported? I'm asking because I'm pretty sure you know them better than I do.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Plugins
Sometimes I think people are trolling us.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - General
There are two ways to prevent it: 1. Don't use HotFile. 2. Use a premium account. Read these for more info:by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - General
Are you guys trolling me? It depends on what service you want the account for. Go to their site and look for it.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - General
Vity: I committed a fix in the SVN. I didn't understand the Czech comments of the "if (descTxtFile.exists() && descTxtFile.isHidden()) ..." part so I left it in.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - General
Uhmm, examples? You just can't really rename the JVM executable...by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - General
Sounds like a bug. Luckily, I guess, it's quite an easy one to fix. We'll have a look at this.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - General
The same old issue is still there: What to do if there are other downloads active? They will fail if you reconnect during download.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Features
Applications might need Administrator rights on Vista/7 to issue shutdown commands. Try running FRD as Administrator (right-click frd.exe -> Run as Administrator).by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - General
FRD does automatically backup the link list. I don't know why this still happens.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Features
We don't want to implement it for just the reason I mentioned in my first post in this thread.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Features

Automatic extraction is on the TODO list, but it's quite a big feature to implement.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Features
Vity Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Nt: the plugin used for downloading is the first > one which matches the url . So this one if it will > be read before eg. RS plugin will be used for > downloading -> downloading will fail. I know. That's a major glitch. One of the reasons why it's not recommended for use.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Features
I made a quick plugin to download files directly. Put it in the plugins folder and restart FRD. FTP is not supported by FRD, so you'll have to live without that feature. Please note that we do not support this plugin at all and there are some glitches.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Features
Read my post above to find the answer...by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Features
Yes, you are right. FRD uses about 50-100MB of RAM during extensive operation, so a device would need at least 128MB of memory to even get close to being able to run it.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Plugins
Thanks for your kind words. Unfortunately FreeRapid is a Java application, and needs JRE to run. Java is only supplied for Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and Solaris operating systems. Besides, Java applications are usually quite heavy on the CPU and memory (FRD is no exception) so I highly doubt a NAS or router could run it anyway.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Plugins
FreeRapid already supports quite a few sites, but we would like to improve support for premium versions of some services. The only issue is that we cannot make or fix premium plugins without premium accounts. Therefore, if you want support for your favorite site's premium version, you have to lend your premium account to one of the plugin developers. The accounts will not be shared with anybodby ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Plugins
All the download links are stored in the file "filelist.xml" (or something like that) in %APPDATA%\VitySoft\FRD\. I think you should be using FRD in "portable" mode for your use, though. Run FreeRapid with the "-portable" switch. I think the readme has more info.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - General
So MU blocks all connections from China, but JD is still able to download?by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Plugins
I think it is on the (long) todo list, but it's a really huge feature to implement. On the other hand, a feature which would allow you to run a command after each download is coming soon AFAIK. Except that there's an issue: How to determine whether it's the correct time to run the command? If the user has several downloads running, for example five from RapidShare and five from MegaUpload,by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Features
I still don't understand what the need for such a feature is, because there are so many other, better alternatives available. FRD is only for non-direct sites like RapidShare.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - Features
FreeRapid is a Java application, and Java applications are actually JAR files which are executed with the Java Virtual Machine. Javaw.exe is the JVM process. Frd.exe which you use to launch FreeRapid is just a loader which prepares the configuration of JVM.by ntoskrnl - FreeRapid Downloader - General
