Do I need to click "update now" after "check for plugin updates"? or just click "cancel" and close FRD?

Yeah. Click on Update now.

Amazing, it works, the updates can download and installed.
I guess it's only a temporary server issue, sorry for all the trouble, thanks for so much for the help!

Same problem here...
When you check updates for new plugins, 100 new plugins are found.Same plugins still stay after updating all and running the software again.

Yesterday I installed the latest java updates.There is no error left..I suppose it was because of Java Sun.

First I want to thank you for this very good program... I used since +- 1 year.
The problem is that I can't update plugins from the server "http://wordrider.net/freerapid/pluginsCheck.php":
1. help-check for new plugins... program connect to server
2. information window... I select "show details"("update now" was the same error)
3. "Plugin updates" window... select "Update"
4. Plugins update window... Downloading new plugins...
5. error window: Update failed...

My accont on the PC is as administrator. Windows Vista home Premium. Java is updated-version 6SE Updated 15(build 1.6.0_15-b03).
At begin it was ok but since +-2 months I have this problem.
Do you have any idea what is the problem?

Try to use version 0.83 RC2

I delete all files that were on "C:\programs\freerapid" and put all data from "FreeRapid-0.83-rc2.zip" on it.
The problem continue... please see attachment. Any idea?

I need to see your log file - app.log, which is situated in FRD's folder.
You should also check your firewall/antivirus.

Sorry I done a search and I don't find any "app.log" on my PC. Please see attach with my FRD folder. Why "app.log" file don't exist?
My antivirus is avast: I turn it off but the problem still exist.
I turn my firewall off, but problem still exist.
Do you need someting from "c:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER_NAME\application data\VitySoft\FRD" ?
Someting happen 2months ago but I don't imagine what and now I have this problem:(
