Meh, I think I figured it out... i had downloaded a large file prior to using this program. I thought that might have been the case but I wasn't sure cause I assumed this program allowed for multiple downloads and no waiting time. Guess not, but it still seems that this program is very convenient for multiple consecutive downloads so I don't have to wait until the download finish to set up the next download.
