FRD freeze after start

After start of program it freeze completly (after the main window is showed) and I had to kill the java process. It was shortly after I updated to latest Java, so I spent half an hour to reinstaling java (several times and end with 1.8.0_71) and deleting all program directory files and re-extractig program again. Still no luck.

Finally I found that program plugins are stored in c:\Users\%userName\AppData\Roaming\VitySoft\FRD after delete it. It's all fine, even after I update all pugins.

Please add this to known bugs to save time to other people.

The AppData folder also stores program settings and the download list and history. There is also a log file, which may contain information about the problem.

There is bug in FRD, on startup if you have large number of items, it will take a long time to load, almost like freezing. This will be fixed in the next release.

I have the same issue with the two last update. Already tried a few things; but can't make it work anymore.

I tried to clean the plugins as mentionned by chashitsu; but it's not working for me ...

so sad ....

I found on another post the solution ; at least for me.

I had to delete the .odb et .odb$; in the log file it was said to be inconsistent.

Working again ...

But if i deleted this files i'll lose all my list of downloads...
can anyone help me? i'm having the same problem mentioned here.

but i dont wanna lost my list of downloads...
i have used FRD for many years.
now i'm thinking to try another downloader program
because of this error
