FRD doesn't loads me anymore..

Yes, I know it, I'm the reporter

When I disabled the "Allow only one instance", it worked.

But problem is, that ESS doesn't ask when FRD is trying to act as server, so I cannot allow it. Even when I disabled antivirus and firewall completely, it did not work. Only way is killing AV's the main process.

So, we will see...

Options ESS Before launch FRD

1/ right click to iconu ESS -> Detail options
2/ find Personal firewall -> left click
3/ rozbal lištu Režim filtrování a zvol Interaktivní režim -> potvrdit OK
4/ rozbal FreeRapid-0.71.zip a dej si na plochu ikonu frd.exe
5/ spusť FRD 0.71
6/ objeví se několikrát interaktivní okno ESS
7/ dej volbu zapamatovat napořád + povolit
a to je vše
8/ podobným způsobem můžeš vrátit nastavení ESS na Automatický režim, ale tvá volba zůstane zapsána v pravidlech připojení ESS

pokud už ale ESS zablokoval FRD musíš odinstalovat ESS resetovat PC a nainstalovat ESS znova. Pak postupuj dle návodu výše.

It was working with 0.71 but doesn't works with 0.8. Gives the following error:

There is no error output with 'frd.exe --debug' though. I had removed settings folder but error was the same. I am using ESET NOD32 but older version was working so this might not related to NOD32. I have deleted the 0.71 zip so please make accessible older versions. Thanks!

BTW, your program is absolutely a masterpiece! Keep up the good work!

You probably didn't extract the zip file properly. You have to have /lib directory with all libraries in the freerapid directory.

Damn! You are right, thank you! I have accidentally turned off single file compare in Total Commander so new files weren't noticed and copied... Everything is working now.

Please, I can't make it work at all. I have ESET and I think this may be the problem, but the strange thing is that it worked very well the first time i used, I realy need this program back.
I have tried the command prompting, and nothing, happens the same thing as the normal icon in windowns, just flashes the Java icon.
I tried to adjust the ESET configuration (i won't get rid of eset, it's has been helping me until today) but, I'm brazilian and I can't undrestand a word in Czech, can someone please tell me a way to make eset and Freerapid stop figthing? I nedd them both.
How do I put this option "Allow only one instance" off if I can't have access to the program at all?

I think I haven't understood your question very well. It's on windowns XP service pack 3 with the custom configurations. I was able to finally make it work by the prompt cmd. I had to use the FRD.jar instead of the FRD.exe. But I saw that the option "Allow only one instance" was already off. But the program is "on" right now and later I will see if I will always need to use the cmd.

Now I've tested it, and it's working very well. Unclicking "Allow only one instance" must be enough to solve it after all. But I'm pretty sure I wasn't the one to uncheck it.
