I figured it out during lunch time yesterday but your suggestion only limits it to the thumb drive letter F, I have made an exe file that automatically addresses that problem similar to the one in portableapps.com, so I dont even need to go to command line any more, it even uses 64bit java where applicable...awesome!! I just position my folders accurately and it runs flawlessly even in a machine locked down to 100MB user ram usage with absolutely no registry entries.

Am officially no longer a click money-key or is it monkey? No more jungle life! The right "path" has led me out of jungle life ha! ha!

! only have one more request remaining, Can Vity have an option where one can save settings to an ini located next to frd.jar? I am being forced to reconfigure my settings everytime I visit a new pc. Thanks ntoskrnl for smashing the nail's head on this one.

You can use the "--portable" switch in startup.properties.

Yes, remove the '#' character in front of the line to uncomment it.
