You've already said that in a previous post to this thread;
but the devs need to see for themselves that that's the version used by FRD!

> I dont know what more information I can give you!

Well, start from
Quote

1. Clearly state your OS version/architecture
3. If on Windows , launch Java Control panel, select Java tab, press View button and check that
JRE 8u131 is the only runtime selected/enabled (if more present) in both User/System tabs.
5. Provide specific link you're having trouble with - does the same link work with the free rapidgator plugin (1.1.14) ?
8. If you have quite a large number of active downloads, then maybe try to fetch them in batches of two...
9. Provide your full unedited debug log with your failing link - don't edit out portions of it yourself, except for, maybe,
your machine account username and your premium RG credentials; tong2shot specifically requested the section
of the log where the JRE used by FRD is mentioned - do you see that anywhere in the excerpt of the log
you attached?
as stressed in my previous post;
I found a premium ( > 500GiB ) RG link on the net
http://rapidgator.net/file/7b99b92a984db8e4c5c00d3aafcb697b/
Of course, trying to down that with the free plugin fails, but at least my DEBUG app.log starts with
Mon Jul 10 23:36:42 EEST 2017 INFO: Config files directory: F:\Applications\FRD\FreeRapid-0.9u4\config
Mon Jul 10 23:36:42 EEST 2017 INFO: You are running FRD with JVM version = C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_131 1.8.0_131 - (min 1.6.0_07 is required)
Mon Jul 10 23:36:42 EEST 2017 INFO: Testing existing instance
Mon Jul 10 23:36:43 EEST 2017 INFO: No other instance is running.
Mon Jul 10 23:36:43 EEST 2017 INFO: Creating a local socket server
Mon Jul 10 23:36:43 EEST 2017 INFO: Waiting for connection

EDIT: while I was composing this post, you've answered to question 1:
> OS 11.10.6
I assume you mean OS X El Capitan 10.11.6; then point 7 is relevant:
7. As pointed already, if you're on a MacOS and using the app, these tend to use the Apple (system) supplied (old) version of Java 6, even if the latest version from Oracle is installed...

Please head over to here; you may have to ditch the app (.dmg) version and use the all-systems-zip one (running a .jar file), as posted here

... You seem reluctant/unable to heed/follow posted advice, or answer pending questions;
the top dev kindly asked you to report the result of
java -version
in the terminal; what is that, please?

On my Windows machine, it reports
java version "1.8.0_131"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_131-b11)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 25.131-b11, mixed mode, sharing

And where exactly in the link I sent you to is it mentioned that the "fix" is to re-install the app?
1. Unistall the FRD app (.dmg file) from your Mac
2. Go to the FRD downloads page and download the
All platforms zip file; extract that to a folder and then run FRD via the included frd.jar file;
I don't own a Mac, so can't be more verbose; search the net for whatever you don't get at first...

java version "1.6.0_65"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_65-b14-468-11M4833)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.65-b04-468, mixed mode)

What a surprise smiling smiley
The all systems distribution should help you.

UPDATE:
When i switch over to the 1.1.14 plugin, and DON'T use my premium account, it works.
It's ONLY when I use the 1.1.8 and use my premium account do the errors happen!

You need to run frd.jar with latest JRE 8 from the terminal or change the default java on your Mac;
though a bit technical, please read and experiment... winking smiley

EDIT: Some useful links for Mac users from Oracle:
[docs.oracle.com]
[docs.oracle.com]
[docs.oracle.com]
[docs.oracle.com]
It may be necessary to install full JDK8 rather than simply JRE8...

To rule out the premium RG plugin is at fault, you might want to try it in a friend's/relative's computer, preferably running a supported Windows OS version (or, lacking that, a current Linux distro) and latest JRE 8u131; or, as instructed, PM one of the devs your premium RG credentials and culprit RG link...

You said in your initial post that it used to work in the recent past; the consensus by the devs here is that RG moved to more secure HTTPS algorithms, that your system supplied JRE 6 is not able to handle anymore...

And JFYI, a new updated version of JRE 8 is just days away...

You are not using Java 8, you are using Java 6. Waiting for a new version of Java 8 won't help unfortunately.
